In our globalizing and competitive world, the importance of human resources is increased. To reach the institutional goals, organizing and running transactions to activate human resources should pick the right employee for the right job, meet the main needs of employees, support their career development, efficiency and increase the quality of work life, contribute to the strategies of management team, fulfill the statutory responsibilities. Etstur is the biggest operator tour company of Turkey. Etstur, which is conscious of the importance of people in this service industry, was seeking to enter into strong management of human resources. After their review and assessments in this area, Etstur has preferred Login HR solutions. Making this decision, besides the application is meeting the needs of the firm in full, the reliability to the system’s speed and quality because of the previous experiences about using Login Finance modules and solutions has played a very important role. In September of 2008, with a contract signed, the first stage of Etstur implementation has been materialized as a detailed system analysis. Firstly, the transactions had started to activate Payroll module. At this stage, Login consulted Etstur about the topics, such as creation of code structure, definition of department and tasks. After transferring data from the old system, creation of new data and performance tests, the Payroll module was ready to use in a very short time. Following the trainings for users, in November and December of the same year, the system is activated for tests. Since 1st January 2009, it is started to be used live. In this project, besides Payroll module, training management, performance management, authority management, transfers and promotions, accounting integration, exchanging data modules have been bought. In the module called Login HR Training Management, there was prepared an examination system. With this aim, some additional improvements were made, such as placement tests and post-training evaluation. In the module called Login HR Performance Management, in the line of the needs of Etstur, there are made some arrangements. Login has found solutions about permission demands, payroll statements, training management, performance management on web-based portal of Login HR Studio, which the employees and managers can be able to use authority-based. Etstur is able to get any report easily, which the legislation requires. Besides, by using the integrations of the system, they can also reach e-declaration and wage payment instructions cavalierly. People, who are working with integrated e-mail technology, can also send information, invitation and warning e- mails to each other. The management team of Etstur and other employees contributed significantly for completing and transferring the project, and it is also unquestionable to state the effect of project management methodology, which is been founding for years.
