Since 1989, hydraulic system and tools production and trade are the area of Altan Hydraulic. In the line of its fast growth lately, accessed to new investment. In this direction, when building a new factory in Gebze, in the middle of 2007 existing information systems are decided to renew.
The software that used previously by the firm, was insufficient to manage workflow. It is needed to prepare the prices manually for the proposal to the customers. This condition had caused both significant time waste and high labor costs. In previous system, stocks was not seen accurately and easily, so that wrong decisions were made.
In stead of using a software that restricts them, Altan Hydraulics’ visionary managing partners decided to use a data system which is more appropriate for them. Through this aim, they have started ERP project in 2007. After several months selection phase, they were ensured that Login ERP software includes their entire business process.
First of all, Altan Hydraulic paced its storages with Login ERP, after the implementation process, which is completed in 4 months. Each purchase from domestic and foreign, it has been started on lot base. In this way, the traceability of goods is provided.
The configurator module of the system is the most effective work between Altan Hydraulic and Login ERP. The entire process, when working with the configurator, provides maximum speed and accuracy, from sales and order phase until production. In stead of creating different static ranges, system prefers to generate dynamic ranges for each product, which are expressed by formulas. During the order, the system creates the range in the line of demand automatically due to defined variable values.
By using the previous dynamic ranges near 300, there is no need to create new ones particularly.
With the project of storage automation, which is activated in stocks of Altan Hydraulic, the rack addressing is done and also entire products are available to follow by barcode.
The radio frequency (RF), which are used in warehouses, provides transactions of acceptance of goods, transfers and transportation accurate and on-line entering to the system.
Altan Hydraulic is now able to know actual costs of products and goods timely. In this way the sale prices are updated and proposals are prepared fast and accurate.
Including this ERP project, activated Login Human Resources, with the application of Payroll, the information about employees are available to follow. By using the raw inputs-outputs data came from the data-collecting terminals in pass tourniquets, the payrolls and tallies are prepared.
